Side excursion in Puerto Vallarta

I took an excursion to this little place that you can only access by water. They fed us dinner on a beautiful beach (no this isn't a postcard picture), then we had entertainment and a romantic moonlight boat ride back to the ship (I didn't know that part when I signed up for the excursion with 2 couples in our group - awkward)

Granny even found a friend to shop with!

Her name is Sandy and she is from Detroit .... she asked if I wanted to shop with her when she saw me alone waiting for the shuttle boat :)

I bartered for these two cute little T-shirts for Logan and Abby - I figured there wasn't anything in Mexico I'd want them to put in their mouths!

I bought this little toy for Tyson - Grumpy was playing with it. It probably isn't the kind of toy that lasts a long time but it will be fun for a while. Great promotional item for an incubator wholesaler.

One of the advantages of Grumpy's work project in Ogden is getting to drop by for a visit with Heidi and Logan while Scott's away at school or work. Logan loooooooooves Grumpy!

THANKSGIVING 2009

Yes, it's been awhile since the last post, so let's try to catch up a little..... Wednesday morning, the day before Thanksgiving, we awoke to the sound of running water. Our water supply line had sprung a leak overnight. Fortunately, it was a pin hole in the line, so not much water had leaked as of yet. Unfortunately, the hole was in the line in the foundation and not accessible in the basement. This is Randy, on Thanksgiving (Lucky for Scott he had to work that morning) backfilling the hole where the plumber made the repair on Wednesday evening. Seven feet of wet heavy clay really works up an appetite for dinner.

Tyson got to help Granny stuff the bird, at least for a couple of handfuls until he was totally disgusted with the process.

Finally, Scott and Heidi arrive, after working a full shift, and dinner is served. Thanks Granny, and anyone who helped out!!!!!
